Main duties of the job
Both ourSurgery Directorate andMedicine and Urgent Care Directorate atUniversity Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trustare passionate about getting it right for patients and their families. We are an extremely friendly, forward thinking and progressive division who are looking to appoint enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Band 5 Registered Nurses who are seeking to start or progress their career.
The acute clinical and compassionate leadership skills you will gain from working within any of these specialities will be highly advantageous for individuals aspiring to become a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist or Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the future. In order to achieve the latter you will be supported by a preceptorship programme (if applicable), as well as Senior Sister, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Practice Development Nurse and the Matron. The breadth and depth of specialities would also be an ideal platform for individuals with aspirations of starting a career within a critical care environment.
We will be providing integrated services liaising directly with community teams. Offering excellent networking opportunities. We have a very exciting range of acute specialities within the medicine and surgery directorate.
