Main duties of the job

Are you looking to further your experience as a specialised paediatric dietitian whilst working as part of a dynamic forward thinking team in a tertiary children's hospital? We are a friendly department of 27 dietitians, supported by dietetic support workers, Special Feed Unit staff and an administrative team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and pro-active paediatric dietitian to join our nephrology team for 12 months. The post provides a renal nutrition service within our tertiary centre and as shared care across the South West region. The post holder will be involved in service development, as well as provide support and supervision to other members of the dietetic team.

To apply for this post, you will ideally have clinical paediatric experience in this area alongside demonstrable leadership skills to ensure high standards of clinical care and knowledge for the development of this service. If you are an experienced dietitian but do not yet have all the skills required you could be considered on our Band 6 to 7 fast-track programme.

We have advertised this as full time post but part time candidates with the correct level of experience will be considered also.
