Main duties of the job

Role Description

The Head of Procurement and Supply Chain is a crucial role within the organisation, tasked with the responsibility of overseeing and developing the procurement and supply chain strategy to ensure the smooth running of operations. Taking a leading role in the team the successful candidate will be able to further strengthen capabilities and solutions HPL offer. The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Supply Chain Strategy: create strategic change and actionable plans to align supply chains with clients business objectives and priorities
  • Procurement Delivery: a fully comprehensive public sector procurement service, which delivers robust and efficiently priced VFM contracts, with pace and assurance
  • Build Capability: developing comprehensive supplier performance management systems and processes to support the continuous improvement of our clients
  • Delivering Outcomes: Building resilience & sustainability within the supply chain, and rapidly delivering cost & customer performance improvements.

The role is full-time with the opportunity for home working.
