Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a B6 Research Nurse/Practitioner to
join our oncology research delivery team.
This post is initially for a 12 month fixed term contract and will be
reviewed following this. This role will
offer an exciting opportunity to be based within the division, working closely
with the multi-disciplinary team to support, develop and deliver research
projects across oncology specialities within the Royal Surrey County Hospital
NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who wish to
work in a clinical research environment and contribute to improving patient
care for the future.
Main duties of the job
Ideally we are looking for a nurse/practitioner, with either research or oncology experience.
The post holder will be organised, have a flexible approach
to work and be motivated to provide excellent clinical care with exceptional
communication and organisational skills.

Foundation Trust (RSCH) will be to support the set up and delivery of research across the
Trust. The role will involve screening patients and monitoring patients during studies, assisting
with clinical investigations and the collection and documentation of accurate data. The
research practitioner/nurse will work collaboratively with all teams to provide excellent care for
patients undergoing cancer treatments
The role involves using an in depth knowledge of research methodology and knowledge of
the requirements of local, national and international research regulations.

- Management of resources.
- Evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development.
