Main duties of the job

To review and appropriately manage undifferentiated medical patients presenting to the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit, with senior support as required.

To complete clinical notes contemporaneously, and to adequately record decision making on the computerised records system, including the x-ray reporting system.

To react positively to changes in planned workload when unforeseen interruptions occur and to plan tasks and activities accordingly.

To prioritise own workload demonstrating a methodical and well organised approach.

To ensure patient confidentiality is adhered to at all times and escalate anybarriers leading to delays in patient management or referral.

To ensure that all Trust standards are maintained to maintain a high quality of care to all who come into contact with the services provided by Royal Surrey Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
