Job summary
A part-time opportunity has arisen to join our Dietetics Department at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust on a fixed term for 12 months to be a part of our Nutrition Support and ICU Teams.
We are looking for somebody with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be working alongside our multi-disciplinary team of dietitians, pharmacists, gastroenterologists, specialist nurses, and biochemists. This post is shared across delivering the nutritional element of the nutrition support service for patients at The Royal Surrey Hospital and supporting patients on ICU. You will also be involved in delivering education sessions to healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
You will join a forward thinking dietetic team which undertakes the training of A, B and C placement students, and also focuses on research and audit in its areas of activity to promote clinical effectiveness in patient care. You will be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, with the chance to shadow and learn from specialist dietitians.
