days annual leave per year (plus 8 days public holidays)

About Us as a Company:
Healthcare Partners Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the
Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the central resource of
professional engineering knowledge and skills within the hospital. Our services
are predominately used to support our Radiotherapy Department, research and
development both within the Trust and also in collaboration with external
academic and clinical partners.

We are
looking to appoint a Medical Devices Administrator to come and join the busy
Radiotherapy Technical Services (RTS) Team at Guildford. The Medical Devices
Administrator is responsible for managing the teams day-to-day operational
activities, coordinating and directing the lifecycle programs, equipment safety
alerts for the high value capital equipment, equipment utilisation and tracking
of equipment within the Trust.
We are
looking for someone who has good interpersonal skills, highly computer literate
and self-motivated. In addition, the successful candidate must have a
methodical approach with attention to detail, which is vital in ensuring the
safe delivery of our service to our stakeholders.
Our service
is spread across the Surrey Community so the successful candidate must be
willing to travel to other sites when required.

responsibilities
a. To
manage and maintain the teams generic email account. Informing the rest of the
team
of any vital information that needs to be addressed imminently.
b. Upload
service reports from the Manufacturers equipment portal into the sections
dedicated equipment database, ensuring that the information is correct
and updated
in a timely and efficient manner.
c. To maintain
and update records of all equipment including tracking equipment locations,
maintenance schedules and expiration dates for outstanding services
(e.g. electrical safety
testing EST). This will involve regular audits and ensuring proper
documentation.
d. Must
be able to lift devices to some degree. The postholder would need to move
devices
one place to another. Must have access to a car for business use to
drive across sites.
e. To
collaborate with various departments within HPL and the Trust, such as
biomedical
engineering and clinical staff, to ensure smooth equipment operations.
Effective
communication and teamwork are essential to address any equipment needs
or issues
promptly.
f. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word,
Powerpoint and Excel to enter, retrieve and
collate data.
g. Undertake
data entry and perform data validation checks within electronic management
systems and databases.
h. Inform
the senior team of any incidents and risks that would cause potential harm to
staff
patients.
i. Highly
organized, prioritizing workload and managing enquiries; referring complex
enquiries to the appropriate expert for resolution.
j. Working respectfully at all times,
responding with compassion, and upholding
confidentiality at all times in accordance with the General Data
Protection Regulations
(GDPR).
k. To work autonomously and efficiently;
prioritizing and reprioritizing workload around daily
interruptions.
l. Carry out all duties in accordance with
the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work
Act, relevant Statutory Regulations, approved codes of conduct, Local
Rules, Quality
System Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
