An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Surgical Division at the Royal Surrey Hospital as the Specialty Manager for the Maxillofacial, Orthodontic, ENT & Audiovestibular Medicine surgical business unit. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with extensive knowledge and experience of service delivery within a challenging, yet very rewarding, acute hospital environment.

This Specialty Manager post is a key position within the Divisions management structure, responsible for providing day-to-day operational management and support across the respective clinical services, in addition to leading jointly with clinical leads a large amount of service transformation and networked working with other local district general and teaching hospitals.

Main duties of the job

You will have a proven track record of successful operational management experience, and will demonstrate a high standard of communication and organisational skills. There will be many opportunities to assist with Division wide service improvement projects.

Above all, the post holder will show proficiency for working closely with clinical teams to ensure the efficient delivery of high quality care across outpatient, inpatient and community settings.
