Job summary

The Royal Surrey Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting enthusiastic, innovative band 6 Midwives to join their team.

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust provides a CQC rated Outstanding Maternity Service to the women and pregnant people of Surrey and the surrounding areas. Supporting the births of 3000 babies a year, our midwives, obstetricians and support workers are dedicated to providing maternity care and parent education that adapts to the needs of the parents. We believe in investing our time in families and we build relationships that support calm and secure childbearing experiences.

We are UNICEF Baby Friendly Gold accredited maternity unit and support 65% of our families through continuity of care or caseloading care models and with our dedicated homebirth team.

Main duties of the job

Deliver high standards of care, ensuring that each womans journey to motherhood is an individualised experience. The candidate will have the skills and ability to work across the maternity pathway, in both the hospital and the community setting as part of a continuity of carer team.

You must hold NMC midwifery registration.

You will be expected to be able to show evidence of current practice/updating.

There will be an opportunity to have a tour of the maternity and neonatal unit, meet some of the midwifery team, learn about our exceptional service and interview for midwifery position.
