Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Surrey to have a Macmillan Lead Cancer Nurse for a two year fixed term contract.
St Lukes Cancer Centre is the specialist cancer unit based at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust Hospital. Established in 1996 and serving a population of approximately 1.2 million across Surrey and West Sussex, it is highly regarded for the excellent care it provides and for its work with the University of Surrey and major pharmaceutical companies in conducting vital research to support the development of new cancer treatments.
Main duties of the job
We are excited to offer this post to an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced cancer nurse. Someone who is able to work as part of the wider MDT and has great communication skills is essential. There will be much networking to ensure that patients receive gold standard care in all cancer care metrics.
