Main duties of the job
Provide expert advice, support, and strategic direction for clinical procurement activities.
Responsible for delivering a strategic procurement service for all identified categories.
Identify procurement projects within key markets to deliver sustainable cost improvements and benefits across the organisation.
Ensure contract compliance and drives cost and efficiency savings by analysing current spend and developing procurement strategies.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, evaluating clinical products and services, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and legislation.
Be a Clinical Leader with extensive clinical knowledge and expertise who will set an example to teams in achieving the future vision through promotion and support of a standardised approach to the selection of clinically related products and devices.
This role requires strategic collaboration with senior stakeholders to foster positive attitudes towards contract management and efficiencies, working closely with both operational and clinical teams to enhance patient care through cost-effective, high-quality procurement practices.
