We are looking for a Lead Education & Training Pharmacist (8a) to cover for a 12 month period.This well established post is ideal for a dedicated pharmacist who has an interest or experience in providing education and development of others. We are looking for a dynamic pharmacist to support the Lead Education and Training Pharmacist manage the training for all members of the pharmacy department and wider multidisciplinary team within the trust. Main duties of the job

To provide a high quality clinical pharmacy service to the area that you have been assigned, with the opportunity to specialise and develop the service to the specialty.To work as a member of the Pharmacy Department to ensure safe, effective, economical and timely pharmaceutical care for all patients receiving a pharmaceutical service from the department.To provide support and supervision to less experienced pharmacists in DepartmentResponsible for the provision of the Foundation and Pre-registration Pharmacist ProgrammesSupport clinical training of Foundation and Pre-registration PharmacistsDeputising for the Principal Pharmacist for Education and Training.

Responsible for the provision of the Foundation Pharmacists and Pre-Registration Pharmacist programmes in line with the pharmacy department Education & Training (E&T) Strategy, as well as regional and national frameworks.Responsible for the pharmacy student training programmesTo assist in the delivery of a specialist clinical pharmacy service to wards or appropriate clinical areas, when requiredProvide professional and clinical supervision for the work of rotational band 6 pharmacists and pre-registration pharmacists.
