Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking, innovative candidate, who has previous Physiotherapy Technical Instructor experience, particularly in Surgery.
The post will be static within the General Surgical areas, as well as some input into ICU patients and contributing to prehabilitation. The applicant must have previous experience as a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor within Surgery and the acute NHS setting.
Candidates require excellent written and spoken communication as well as excellent team working skills, adaptability and flexibility.
There is a requirement for flexible working as the service operates over 7 days on a rostered pattern.

Main duties of the job
Provide routine Physiotherapy assessment and treatment sessions independently, as directed by team lead. Assist physiotherapy team to deliver a high quality and effective service within the acute hospital, community locations and patient's homes.

Treat patients according to department standards/protocols both individually and in group settings. Complete basic patient assessments independently, as directed by qualified Physiotherapists.
