To support and enhance the care we provide to patients and their families we are seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our vibrant Paediatric Emergency Department. - Lead and coordinate the nursing team to deliver high-quality evidence based care to paediatric patients and their families in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children and young people presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
- Provide a high standard of individualised patient care reflecting individual competencies and education that involves relatives/carers as appropriate.
- Maintain the positive links with the integrated service and develop the Paediatric A&E area, in line with emergency reform.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective treatment plans.
- Support and educate families, providing them with the information and reassurance they need during challenging times.
