We are looking for a senior leader with operational experience and expertise in managing large-scale digital programmes. The successful candidate will oversee the operational management of the Patient Access, Immunology and Allergy, and some Hospital Transport services. They will lead review and reform programmes, specifically targeting improvements in booking practices to enhance our service delivery.

Main duties of the job

Lead and manage a diverse SBU of SBU's across DCSS in line with the Trust mission, vision and values to achieve the Trust corporate objectives. Across this SBU you will ensure balanced and effective clinical governance across quality and safety, finance and performance domains

This role is responsible for effective leadership, co-ordination and operational management of a SBU of SBUs across DCSS. This role will be responsible for leading on strategic and redesign projects together with the Lead Clinicians (medical and non-medical) for the SBU. The post holder will also form part of the Senior Divisional Management Team reviewing the Diagnostic strategy for the Division.

  • Relevant post-graduate professional qualifications at a Masters to Doctorate level (or equivalent)
