SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT - NEONATAL DATA CO-ORDINATOR BAND 4
We at The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Data Co-coordinator to be responsible for collating, monitoring and conducting basic analysis of all sources of data relating to SCBU and Transitional Care activity. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who will provide the Unit with an effective, efficient and comprehensive data administration service to patients and staff. You should be computer literate and able to use a variety of systems including Microsoft Office. Training for trust specific systems will be provided. You will work closely with medical teams in different areas of newborn services.
The post holder will have access to a Specialist NHS Commissioning Database (BadgerNet) and the Hospital's Patient Administration System (Oasis/ Cerner). The BadgerNet database is an application used by Newborn Services for commissioning purposes.

Main duties of the job
To provide accurate and timely data for SCBU and Transitional Care activity, having the knowledge of specialist programme. To ensure that there are adequate supplies of stationary in all Paediatric clinical areas, reducing duplication and being cost effective.To participate as a team member in the smooth day to day operational management of SCBU.To provide data interpretation to other specialists. To liaise with external agencies (CQUIN, Dashboard, NHS England) on behalf of the Trust.
