Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our team of 36 at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford. This post is 12 months fixed-term for maternity leave cover.
You will join a forward thinking dietetic team which undertakes the training of student dietitians, and also focuses on research and audit in its areas of activity to promote clinical effectiveness in patient care. You will be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, with the chance to shadow and learn from specialist oncology dietitians.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work within our established H&N oncology dietetic teams, providing support to both inpatients and outpatients undergoing cancer treatment at St Luke's Cancer Centre. The primary focus of this role will be to support the H&N Oncology dietetic team but there will be an opportunity to support and gain experience with the other specialty teams in the department. You will have a very varied caseload and will work within several MDTs. You will be expected to provide high quality nutritional care both in face-to-face and telephone clinics.
