Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Staffing Booking Administrator to support our professional, fast paced Temporary Staffing Team.
The Temporary Staffing Team manage and assist with the booking of temporary workers into the electronic booking systems, providing the wards and departments with additional appropriately trained staff to support their required staffing levels. This is carried out across all staffing groups including Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, Medical and Administration (this includes Bank and Agency workers, bookings, queries and invoicing).
You will be pro-active, tenacious with a strong drive to succeed and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will work together with the Trust's department managers and matrons, building relationships, in order to gain better understanding of their temporary staffing needs and requirements.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with various IT applications in order to use the established E rostering systems. You will also have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
Main duties of the job
o To provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the effective deployment, management and payment of temporary staff (bank and agency) in accordance with policies and procedures.
o To be the first point of contact for temporary staff, agencies and line managers, guiding all aspects of the temporary staffing process in accordance with policies and procedures and national guidelines.
o To be proactive in ensuring shifts are filled with bank workers, reducing agency use.
o To take responsibility for delivery of the Temporary Staffing Service out of hours and at weekends, when there may be no management cover.
