Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual to lead the Trust in expanding its career progression and apprenticeship service. Working as part of the learning and organisational development function, the focus will be on creating a culture of opportunities and development for our staff and local communities.
Main duties of the job
We're looking for a dynamic, inspirational individual who is forward thinking and committed to developing the service. Ideally you will have experience of managing a career service or apprenticeships or both.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the service and oversee the day to day operations related to careers and apprenticeships and be expected to be the specialist point of contact for managers and staff across all areas in the Trust. You will manage and develop members of your team and also contribute to the development and delivery of other initiatives within the broader L&OD team.

The suitable applicant will have exceptional leadership skills and be a confident communicator, with a track record of providing strategic direction, effective decision making, and driving delivery and governance oversight. They will be friendly and organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills and an enthusiastic team player who would enjoy the challenge and rewarding job of encouraging, developing and inspiring staff to maximise their potential.
