Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our Registration Authority (RA) team on a six month fixed term basis, providing support and guidance for our Trust Smartcard community.
You will have a strong, analytical background and excellent customer service skills, and will also be a good communicator with a high level of attention to detail. You will be used to working with national and local policies to deliver a safe and effective service.

Interviews are planned for week commencing 12 February 2024 and will be in person.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a small team focused on the preparation and production of Smartcards, provision and support of system access and a central point of contact for Smartcard queries. With a community of over 6000 users this is a very important, busy and fast paced role.
Based in Guildford, Surrey, the Registration Authority service currently operates between 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday; the successful candidate will have a flexible attitude and be able to adjust to the operational needs of the Trust as and when required.

- Provide advice, help and guidance to Smartcard users to enable them to use the card effectively for the intended purpose
- Work in accordance with national policy and guidelines relating to Registration Authority
To support the smooth operation of the Registration Authority (RA) function at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust including supporting staff at satellite sites across the local health community.
The post holder will be experienced in the co-ordination of administration tasks and activities, and will support the RA Manager to ensure all Smartcard users receive an exemplary service.
The post holder will be expected to work alongside a number of other Digital and Trust teams and may come in to contact with multiple digital systems and services as part of the role.
The post holder will be expected to act as an RA agent to provide end users with RA advice and enable access to systems following completion of any necessary training.

- Formal IT or business administration qualification, e.g. BTEC, NVQ or Apprenticeship
Knowledge & Experience

- Experience of working in an IT delivery environment
