The Royal Surrey Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an enthusiastic, motivated Band 5 Nurse to join their Outpatients Gynaecology team.

Are you are a nurse with an interest in gynaecology and outpatient gynaecology procedures?

Are you able to meet the challenge of delivering high standards of care in a busy outpatients setting, ensuring that each person's journey is an individualised experience?

You will support the gynaecology consultant clinics, colposcopy and hysteroscopy services and enhanced recovery pathways preparing women for gynaecology surgery.

Gynaecology experience is not required as training will be given and there will be opportunities for future development

You must hold current UK NMC registration.

You will be expected to be able to show evidence of current practice/updating.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard of individualised patient care to all patients attending the Gynaecology Outpatients at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. To ensure that care is evidence based and patient centered. The post holder will assist in the management and organisation of the nursing service within the Outpatient areas including the teaching and management of more junior staff or those in training.
