Medical Job Planning and Medical Workforce Advisor
Joining our team, you will have lots of opportunity to provide advice and support on job planning for medical staff across the Trust, and also other medical terms and conditions. You will be supporting the maintenance and monitoring of the e-job planning system including training staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that the e-Job Planning system is properly populated with job plans, and that the various stages of job plan 'sign off' are completed by individual consultants and the Divisions within Trust agreed timelines.
Main duties of the job
This post is a focal point of contact within the Medical Workforce Department, and with a link to the Medical Directors office, working with all levels of medical staff across the Trust. We are seeking candidates who have knowledge and understanding of job planning for medical staff and medical and dental terms and conditions.
If this role is right for you, you will be customer focused and have the ability to develop good working relationships and personal credibility with Managers, Consultants and other medics at all levels. You will need excellent prioritisation, planning and communication skills, be pro-active and must have attention to detail. It is essential that you are able to work as part of a team or work on your own initiative.

Desirable
- HR qualification (CIPD) or practical experience
Knowledge and Skills

- Advanced Excel skills including experience in using VLOOKUP tables.
- Basic understanding of the job planning, processes
- Basic understanding of medical and dental terms and conditions
- Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders including a successful track record of influence and engagement.
- Experienced in working with electronic (HR) systems and databases
- Proven record of working knowledge of administrative practices
- Can demonstrate an awareness of best practice and new idea within HR agenda
- Experience of drafting reports and support materials
- Experience of delivering training in one-to-one or group settings
- Experience of managing competing demands and priorities
- Thorough understanding of the importance of confidentiality, data protection and information governance
