Job summary

To provide efficient, accurate, and confidential administrative support to the Mental Health Liaison Team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, support clinical staff with administrative tasks, and contribute to a high-quality service for patients and partner teams.

Main duties of the job

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Mental Health Liaison Team, including managing phone calls, shared inboxes and general enquiries. Support the processing of referrals and ensure accurate, timely entry of patient information into electronic record systems. Prepare and maintain documents such as letters, reports, meeting notes and activity logs. Assist with diary management, meeting coordination, room bookings and basic rota updates. Maintain organised filing systems, manage office supplies and support general office housekeeping. Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with Trust policies and information governance requirements. Work collaboratively with clinical staff, ward teams and external partners to support the smooth running of the service
