We have a fabulous opportunity to join Derbyshire Healthcare's Research and Development team based at the Kingsway hospital site in Derby.
Applications are invited for a secondment to 'act up' into a Band 6 Lead Research Nurse role, based within the Centre for Research and Development at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
"It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract. "
Main duties of the job
The Research and Development Team conducts National Institute of Health and Care Research Portfolio research, clinical audit and own account research on a wide variety of mental health and service provision related topics.
The successful candidate will be involved in leading the set up and delivery of complex NIHR portfolio research projects both Commercial and non-Commercial based. In particular we are looking for an individual to lead a Clinical Trial of an Investigational Medicinal Product with participants who have Parkinson's Disease. Experience of CTIMPs is essential.
We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic person with strong clinical, organisational and interpersonal skills, to work within our team as a Band 6 Lead Research Nurse.
The ability to travel over a large geographical area is essential.
