Job summary

The successful candidate must hold a SCPHN qualification (HV/SN)

You will support the ASM to ensure service provision is a co-ordinated and integrated team approach that ensures partnership working with key stakeholders aligned to the service provision.

  • Provide senior operational and clinical leadership and management within the 0-19 Universal Service across Derby City.
  • Support the Area Service Manager in delivering high-quality public health services for children, young people, and families.
  • Ensure effective coordination of teams, service delivery, and compliance with organisational standards.
  • Drive innovation and utilise technology to improve accessibility and outcomes ensuring a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Work strategically within the partnership.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A caring, compassionate approach with a commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.

To offer operational supervision for all locality lead/ managers, working within your hierarchy.

To be responsible for the operational co-ordination and management within a specified area, working collaboratively with Children's 0-19 Area Service Manager, Service Line Clinical Lead, and Locality Leads/Managers

Manage and process Datix and complaints/ compliments and risk assessments. To provide first line management for staff within an area of responsibility.

To actively lead in the formulation of children's policies and procedures in order to ensure appropriate delivery of services alongside other services within Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, as well as external partner agencies.

Ensure the embedding of Participation /coproduction across the service with partner agencies.
