Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised individual to join the Finance Team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust'
This is a challenging and diverse role, supporting the team to ensure the integrity of the Organisation's finance function.
Hybrid working (office 1-2 days per week / home-working 3-4 days per week) - in addition, you will be required to attend the office in person to undertake training and attend meetings. Any changes to this will be notified as and when DHCFT's policy changes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide support to the Financial Management and Financial Control teams, you will be required to assist in other areas as appropriate.
You should be able to demonstrate accurate and competent use of Microsoft Office, but specifically proficient in the use of Excel, working knowledge of Oracle would also be an advantage.
You will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
You will also need to have excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
For this role, you will also need confident communication skills (both written and verbal) and a keen eye for detail.
You will assist in the provision of an efficient and effective financial management service to the trust. Assisting in the delivery of financial reports and other finance related projects in a timely and accurate basis.
You will contribute to the achievement of the finance departments objectives.
