We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a mental health nurse to join our clinically led alcohol provision within Derby Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service.

Derby Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service is a partnership service that provides an integrated health service for Derby City residents who identify a substance misuse related need. Our approach embeds the notion of health, well-being, and recovery.

The post holders will be part of Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust's Substance Misuse Team (Derby City) offering alcohol interventions to service user who have an identified alcohol support need.

The post holders will work with service users who have a range of complex health issues alongside their substance misuse need; the post holder will work in a trauma informed way.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will carry a case load, supporting service users with an alcohol support need where complexity associated with mental and physical health is also a consideration. They will also provide outreach work and liaise with the Royal Derby Hospital clinical teams to assess and plan treatment interventions where indicated.
