Job summary
The post holder will:
- Provide, maintain and develop a high quality, administrative/secretarial support reflecting the professionalism of the Liaison team.
- Provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Liaison Team including typing/word processing of letters, memos, minutes, reports and other routine correspondence.
- Work on their own initiative, as well as part of the wider Administrative Team and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team with responsibility for allocated tasks.
Main duties of the job
- Priorite urgent calls/request from ward staff and signposting appropriately to the relevant staff, which may include clinical leads, clinicians, care co-ordinators, duty clinicians, professionals and hospital staff.
- Register new referrals on SystmOne (EPR) for referrals received.
- Use Dictate IT to transcribe clinic letters onto the patient EPR. Type, format and request letters/reports to be approved and send correspondence via post or electronically (via EPR) in a timely manner.
- Scan urgent patient correspondence onto the EPR.
