Job summary
As a registered practitioner you are personally accountable for your professional practice and have a legal/professional responsibility to service users, colleagues, employers and self.
As Clinical Lead you will be working within the leadership structure of the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service. The post holder will be expected to ensure the team adopts the policies and philosophy of the Trust and provides a range of urgent care using appropriate therapeutic interventions which promote independence, foster a learning culture and enhance the autonomy of the service user, and ensuring high quality, compassionate, person-centred care.
Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust Crisis and Home Treatment services are currently working towards the UCL Core Fidelity Scale.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will clinically, and professionally lead Crisis and Home Treatment Service and will provide supervision to the team members. Through strong leadership they will ensure evidence-based practice is delivered to improve the quality of and shape responsive services. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that established clinical mechanisms support safe, high quality care throughout the 24 hour period. The post holder will present a professional image to promote a positive image to service users, carers and the community.
The post holder will be required to clinically co-ordinate and lead a multi-agency staff team and ensure the provision and development of an effective service in line with legislative, procedural and contractual requirements. The post holder will work with the Service Manager for the team.
The post holder will provide strong and effective clinical leadership in line with agreed policy and Service Specification which will involve liaison with delegated team leads within DHCFT and other partner agencies.
Above all the post holder will ensure provision of a safe, culturally competent, effective, timely and accessible service that is in accordance with national and local priorities and responsive to the needs of individuals in contact with the service.
