Job summary

This is an exciting new post that will cover the operational management of the Adults of Working Age Community Mental Health Service in the North East Derbyshire and Bolsover locality.

The Living Well is a new kind of mental health support being developed in line with changes in the NHS Community Mental Health Framework. The Living Well aims to:

  • Make it easier for everyone to get the right support, easily, in their local community.
  • Puts co-production at the heart of service development and improvement
  • Make sure different professionals and organisations work closely together to provide more seamless support, avoiding repetition.
  • Improve the experience for people to access support and to live the life they want to live

This role will be crucial to ensure the development of the new Living Well offer in North East Derbyshire and Bolsover and integration with our existing Community Mental Health Team.

The post holder will be expected to provide operational management to staff, manage the service key performance indicators, hold budget responsibility for the Service and play a key role in promoting the service and engaging with local partners and key stakeholders.

The post holder will be well supported by peers, a Clinical Lead for the Service Line, Professional Leads and the Area Service Manager.

As this is a new role the job description may be subject to review in line with annual appraisal and service developments / transformation.
