Multi Professional Approved Clinician

This consultant Multi Professional AC (MPAC) post is an exciting new role within the Trust and Derbyshire. It offers a unique opportunity to join other qualified MAPCs as well as trainee ACs working within the Trust and region. It is an amazing opportunity to shape a new service as it develops, taking a key leadership role within this specialist team and region.
The interview will be held via MS teams on 6th April 2022.
Main duties of the job
The MPAC Consultant will provide strong, visible clinical leadership within the developing Autistic Spectrum Disorder Pathway and provide expert guidance and support to other areas of the organisation around Autistic Spectrum Disorders and associated issues. The post holder will carry a clinical caseload and provide Consultant led care to a set of patients referred to the Specialist Autism Team (SAT) who may or may not be managed under the MHA.
You will support development of the service and the model of care from a psychological perspective. Under your clinical leadership the SAT team will flourish and deliver excellent care to people with ASD needs in Derbyshire.
