Job summary

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a registered nurse, occupational therapist or social worker to join our community CAMHS Eating Disorder team, to support our expanding service provision for children, young people and their families, who are experiencing an eating disorder.

Our service covers Derby City and South Derbyshire, in a range of locations.

We provide a flexible service between 8.00am and 8.00pm, to enable accessibility and we are currently developing some areas of weekend availability.

Main duties of the job

You will be supported as a member of the multi-professional team in all core aspects of our service provision.

This will include a duty worker role, responding to and screening referrals, assessment of new referrals, delivering support within individualised care plans, family interventions, physical health monitoring, participating in team meetings and liaison with other professionals and services.

Some flexibility in working hours may be needed between 8.00am and 8.00pm; we aim to achieve a working pattern/job plan that meets the needs of our service and individual team members.

You will need to be able to travel to different locations, as we work in clinics, paediatric wards and home environments, depending on needs of families.
