Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lead nurse post.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and well- motivated registered nurse with a strong commitment to nursing older people with dementia at Cubley Court.

The post holder will be a key member of the ward nursing team to ensure high quality care is delivered.

The successful candidate will be part of the multi- professional team.

Main duties of the job

• The ability to work autonomously.
• The ability to make safe and speedy decisions.
• The desire to develop your clinical and managerial skills and knowledge.
• Evidence of teaching, mentoring and supervising others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Supporting and acting as a role model for junior members of the team.

Cubley Court is a purpose-built, 36-bedded dementia unit, split into 4 smaller 'pods'.
