This post is for a Cardiothoracic LED working at ST1/2 level.
The successful candidate will join a multi-professional team with 11 Cardiothoracic Consultants based at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre, Blackpool Victoria Hospital and be employed by the Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Blackpool Victoria Hospital is one of four Regional Centres for Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology. The Lancashire Cardiac Centre, comprises a £50m state of the art facility which incorporates 4 catheter laboratories, currently 4 (but with a possibility of commissioning a 5th), 4 operating theatres and 20 critical care beds, together with associated ward beds and a dedicated educational and research facility.
