Job summary
To provide a comprehensive appointment andreception service for Imaging examinations for allwards and departments at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, GP's and all other users of the service. Ensure waiting list targets are met highlighting progress and anyanticipated problems associated with meeting thetargets.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to join our busy, demanding clerical team working in the Imaging Department.You will be motivated, enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.The maintenance of patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential for this role.You should have a proven record of working within a clerical environment, having undertaken first line administrative responsibilities. You should have excellent IT skills.Knowledge of the Radiology Department and Radiology Information Systems would be an advantage but this is not essential. Previous NHS experience would also be useful. Training on specific hospital systems will be given.
