Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on the Haematology Ward at Blackpool Teaching Hospital.
The successful candidate will be supported by our nursing and medical team and full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be expected to work shifts including long days and night shifts.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include:
Assisting with personal care
Maintaining patient safety and dignity at all times
Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
Recording base line observations
Being the patient advocate and escalating any concerns to the appropriate teams
Working closely with all members of the MDT
