An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as the Trust's Deputy Head of Financial Services.
We are looking for an experienced financial professional with drive, ambition and a passion for excellence.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Head of Financial Services, the post holder will assist the Head of Financial Services to provide a high-class financial accounting service to the Trust, delivering all aspects of the Trust's financial accounting requirements which include annual accounts, capital accounting, charitable fund accounting, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, VAT accounting, reconciliation of key payroll deductions and completion of financial returns.

- oExperience in a senior role with a proven track record of achievement
- oExperience of working in a busy accounting environment.
- oRecent senior financial accounting experience of treasury management, VAT and control accounts
Desirable
- oFinancial Accounts experience in a public sector environment for a minimum of two years
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

- oUp to date knowledge of accepted standards & practices
- oDetailed understanding of the NHS financial accounting regime
- oHighly developed, detailed working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office packages
