Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the Ear, Nose and Throat Team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals has arisen for a Locum ST3 on a six month basis with a possibility of extension further.
On-calls will be available depending on service and discussion with the Department.
Main duties of the job

Join a non-resident, single site, single speciality 1 in 5 2nd on-call rota for ENT

See patients in scheduled outpatient clinics as per rota

Attend Daycase / inpatient theatres as per rota and co-ordinate cases going to emergency theatre

Lead daily ward rounds, support junior doctors covering wards, same day emergency care and emergency department, ensure timely completion of paperwork and discharge of patients.
- Review internal hospital referrals
