Job summary
The post holder will support the neighbourhood team carrying out agreed responsibilities. The duties will be varied, including clinical face to face nursing activities, therapy support and administrative. It is preferable that you have experience in the use of IT systems such as; community emis, excel and Microsoft word, however support will be provided. The post holder will strive to provide excellent patient centred care whilst working alongside the clinical and administrative team. Ensuring their actions are in line with the Trust's Visions and Values whilst working towards the Five Year Strategy Plan.

Assist in the care of patients in the clinic or home environment, usually working unsupervised, but to the instructions of a registered nurse/allied health professional within the Neighbourhood Care Team.
Clinical Duties:
1. Taking and recording observations of blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate. Recording height and weight.
2. Urinalysis and specimen taking as per protocol
3. Performing simple dressings and applying topical treatments as per wound care policy.
4. Instilling eye drops both single and multiple and instructing patients how to instil
5. Examination of the ear and instilling ear drops/ointments.
6. Undertake planned/regular venepuncture in line with national and local policies
