Ward Clerk- Permanent Position
Full Time 37.5 hours a week
This is an exciting opportunity to recruit a full time Ward Clerk on ward 34. Ward 34 is a 27 bedded mixed sex Acute Trauma Ward, caring for patients with acute or pathological fractures or acute joint conditions.On the ward we care for patients from admission via Accident and Emergency or Orthopaedic Clinic. This role is for Mon-Friday - 0730 - 1530
Main duties of the job
We are a forward thinking modern Foundation Trust and are looking to recruit a Ward clerk who is highly motivated, open to change and demonstrates excellent communication skills. As an integral member of the team the post holder will assist and participate in the smooth running of the unit by providing clerical and administrative support to the nursing staff and wider multidisciplinary team.
We have a fantastic team of staff and they would support any new member of the team. There would be a period of teaching and training for the successful candidate.
