Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the CASHER (Child and Adolescent Support and Help Enhanced Response)RAIS (Rapid and Intensive Support) Team for a forward thinking and flexible support worker to join our team. The job will entail working with young people and their families who are struggling with their emotional and mental health wellbeing. The young people we support have no support from mental health services or have support but need extra help. The job role will also entail working alongside other services to support the needs of the young person under their care.
The work with young people will include initial assessments, referrals on to other services, advice offered to families and young people and interventions with young people. CASHER is mainly an out of hours service so some flexibility will be needed when taking on this role and may require out of hours work and weekend work. The post holder will work in a variety of settings including the Children's Wards, Adolescent Unit, A&E, client's own homes, schools, Family Centre's and Primary Care centres
There will also be the opportunity to do some Bank work on top of working hours for the CASHER RAIS service

- Assist in carrying out a range of therapeutic approaches as required by the CASHER Team, referring complex issues to senior staff.
