Band 5 Staff Nurses - Cardiac Intensive Therapy Unit
We are seeking Registered Nurses who possess the vision and motivation to help us move cardiac care at Blackpool into a new rapidly changing and exciting future.
Successful applicants will gain experience in all aspects of cardiothoracic intensive and high dependency. We are recruiting staff nurses to work in our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care / High Care Unit. The unit provides 24 beds at level 2 and 3 acuity for patients who have undergone cardiac and thoracic surgery. These posts are suitable for newly qualified nurses or experienced nurses who are seeking to gain valuable experience working in this challenging environment. You must be forward thinking, enthusiastic and have a desire to make a difference when providing patient care.

Main duties of the job
Care of patients following cardiac or thoracic surgery in a level 2 or level 3 setting. Cardiac ITU is a busy and fast paced environment. Teamwork and communication is the key to our working effectively.
