Lilie Lead Administrator/ Sexual Health PA, Band 4 (pending ACF job matching review) based at Fatima Health Centre, Preston
Blackpool and Lancashire sexual services are a busy service with 9 clinical teams. The service is provided by Blackpool Teaching Hospital Trust and provides clinics in numerous sites across Lancashire and Blackpool.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic administrator preferable with experience of working in a NHS or healthcare environment and knowledge of the dedicated GU Medicine IT system ie Lilie is highly desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for developing, maintaining and administering localised electronic systems to enable the collection and provision of accurate clinical data from all departments within Sexual Health Services. To ensure that all patient and activity data is correctly entered by the relevant clerks on all patient based electronic systems. and other general administrative duties, providing and receiving complex or sensitive information, which may be seen as complicated by staff.
The post holder must possess excellent communication, organisational and keyboard skills, be methodical with a keen eye for detail and to work on own initiative working to tight deadlines. The post holder will also need experience of Microsoft Word and Excel to collect and present information. It is essential that the post holder uses initiative compatible to the role and it is vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive personal assistant and administrative service to the Head of Sexual Health Service.
About us
The post is 37.5 hrs Monday to Fridays. The base is Fatima Health Centre, Preston, But travel to other site in Lancashire and Blackpool may be required. Some remote working may be negotiable
