A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Integrated MSK Physiotherapy team. As a Band 6 physiotherapist you will work across Acute and Community based MSK clinics. This rotational work will help to provide the successful candidate with a broader experience of an MSK caseload across a range of health care settings.
Continuous professional development is supported through supervision/ in house training. We also have close links and partnerships with local universities that can improve ease of access to post grad training.
Main duties of the job
We are a dynamic and progressive team, continuously seeking new ways of working, where research is actively encouraged. You will join a team consisting of a Consultant Physiotherapist, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, GpwSI (GP with special interest), Extended Scope Practitioners, Clinical Specialists and Physiotherapists supported with a good clerical and assistant team. The post holder should been interested in MSK physiotherapy with a willingness to learn and develop. The service is one of the fastest growing in the country, with access to in house diagnostic ultrasound scanning and guided injections. We are looking to develop physiotherapists in order to maintain the high level of service the trust offers. You will be supported with a Job plan offering you protected professional development time.

Be responsible for maintaining own competency to practice through continued professional development activities and the maintenance of a portfolio.
Actively search out and work within evidence based practice and to include the use of information technology for this purpose.
Attend and be an active participant in In-Service training, Clinical Supervision as a Supervisee, Journal Clubs, tutorials etc.
Attend Team Meetings on a monthly basis and any absence should be agreed with the Line Manager.
Attend monthly education sessions lead by clinical specialists or members of the tier 2 team.
Attend mandatory training as stipulated by the organisation.
Participate in the Staff Appraisal Scheme as an appraisee and be responsible for complying with your agreed Personal Development Plan.
