Job summary

This is a newly created post to assist the trust with the rollout of electronic job planning for Medical Staff using the Allocate system.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all Consultants and SAS Doctors job plans are on the electronic job planning system and that job plans are consistent with the requirements of the agreed job planning policy.

Main duties of the job

  • Maintain the information contained on the eJob Plan system to ensure all Job plans across the Trust are up to date and, on the system, and flag/escalate where there may be issues.
  • Ensure all service users are set up and removed as necessary on the system in a timely manner.

  • Undertake regular stocktake of users and Doctors on a regular (as a minimum on a quarterly basis) of the eJob Plan system against the doctors employed. Liaising with Medical Staffing Department where necessary

  • Work with the Allocate Academy to ensure there is a robust training programme for all current operational and clinical new starters. This includes access being provided to users as necessary and review training material as deemed suitable for job planning system efficiency

  • Attend and report to MJPSCG (Medical Job Planning Scrutiny and Consistency Group) led by Chief Operating Officer. This involves producing reports to MJSPCG detailing the status of Medical Job planning across the Trust and areas where decisions are required and any anomalies

  • Experience in supporting the Job planning process
