There is an exciting opportunity within our Trust for a Podiatrist with a specialist interest in High Risk and Vascular.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking individual with appropriate exposure and experience, particularly in High risk and Vascular Podiatry. You should champion quality care,to join our specialist team to help innovate the High risk and Vascular Foot care agenda.
As a practicing Clinician you will perform specialist podiatry assessments of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and to develop and deliver a specialised individual treatment program across various settings, including the domiciliary caseload to benefit the patients needs.
Main duties of the job
- Management of the high risk and vascular caseloads with the lead as well as the wider team
- Coordination of the acute and community integrated vascular and high risk podiatric pathway in a safe and effective manner
- Working with the wider directorate team, including the diabetes and vascular leads
- Supporting and implementing the quality agenda in all aspects of work
- Regular evaluation and development of the high risk and vascular podiatry service
- Clinical supervision of staff and students, taking part in peer reviews and training sessions
- Working alongside the lead for advice and support when required
- Routine evaluations of clinical work and documentation
- Participating in local and national audits and service improvement activities to demonstrate adherence
- Management of a domiciliary caseload - a driver with daily access to a car is essential
