We have the role for you, we are recruiting 4 Apprentice Assistant Management Accountants.
We are keen to develop suitable candidates to achieve the Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 AAT qualifications. During the apprenticeship programmes you will gain skills and knowledge in the workplace and attend study with a local training provider. Once all levels have been completed you will hold a Band 4 Assistant Management Accountant position within our Trust.
To apply for one of these roles you will need to hold GCSE level 4 English and Math (or equivalent) and have an interest in finance. During the apprenticeship you will work towards achieving the essential and desirable criteria of the accompanying personal specification and gain the necessary skills in the job role. Training will be provided bi-weekly at a local training provider, along with independent study (all within your contracted working hours). You should not apply for this role if you already hold AAT2,3, or 4 qualification or equivalent.

You must be eligible for ESFA Apprenticeship Funding

Main duties of the job
Within Financial management there will be a requirement to undertake general duties including maintaining spreadsheets, assisting in the month-end reporting process, raising invoices/credit notes, and responding to general finance queries from colleagues, both within and outside of the Trust.
The Apprentice will be required to commence (or continue) study of AAT, with an external study provider.
A good knowledge and use of Excel and Word, with focus on shortcuts, formulas and Pivot tables will be desired.
