Job summary

This is a 6 month fixed term post intended to support the existing radiology service. The successful candidate will be a general radiologist with Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (or equivalent) and be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of their CCT at the time of interview. Wide training and experience in general radiology as well as experience in cross-sectional imaging is required. Experience of cardiothoraric radiology is essential

Main duties of the job

The posts will include sessions at both Sandwell Hospital and City Hospital. The Trust will be reconfiguring its services in advance of the move to the Midland Metropolitan Hospital and the post-holder will be required to work at any of the Trust's sites, but with minimal cross site travel.

  • Entry on the Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology (or entry expected within 6 months from the date of interview)
