Job summary
Do not apply for this role if you already hold the Business Administrator Level 3 qualification/award (NVQ or Standard) or equivalent.
This apprenticeship position offers long term employment following successful completion of the apprenticeship programme. During the apprenticeship you will work towards achieving the competencies of the personal specification (attached) whilst working in the role. Training will be provided weekly, by our in-house team of tutors and trainers (within contracted working hours).
Apprenticeship entry requirements:
Before reaching end point assessment, you will be required to achieve level 2 functional skills English and Math, or equivalent (if not already achieved, classroom learning will be provided). Please ensure you include English and Maths qualifications on your application form - if not you may not be shortlisted.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for clinic management, booking and rescheduling of new and follow up appointments to specific targets, dealing with enquiries from colleagues and members of the public and associated administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised and a logical thinker with a strong ability to solve problems and multi task. A cheerful, caring and kind nature, with firm focus on delivering an excellent service are essential attributes, together with proven abilities to communicate effectively at at all levels
Ideally, you will have a good understanding of RTT and 2ww performance targets and have experience in working within a hospital environment; however this is not essential if you are able to demonstrate the other required skills.
