Job summary
The Trust are looking to recruit a new Deputy Head of Estates and Compliance.
As a key member of the Directorate Management Team, you will be required to fully contribute to the strategic and general management of the Directorate.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work with the Head of Estates and Compliance to provide expert advice to the Directorate management team on all appropriate Estates management matters whilst ensuring the provision of an effective high quality Estates service to the Trust.
This will be a site based role to provide an Estates Management presence on opposite sites to ensure all operational day-day operational matters are dealt with effectively.

- Degree qualified together with the membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Chartered Engineer) or demonstrable evidence
- Formal Health & Safety Qualification
- Formal Management Qualification
- Project Management skills
Experience

- Significant experience in an environment with complex building and engineering services installation
- Highly developed specialist knowledge of hospital building and engineering services as listed in the Person Specification
- Experienced in the production and presentation of business cases at senior management level
- Significant experience in an Estates/Facilities department within the NHS.
- Experienced in the management of capital development projects
